Windsong is very active in donating charters to charitable fundraisers. During the last quarter we have given charters to raise money for Justice for Children, Salvation Army Residence Center and to a program called Hug a Bear. Katherine drew the bear and held a contest where contributors could be entered into a drawing for a free charter. The International Facility Manager’s Association raised over 400 bears. The stuffed animals are given to children when the Harris County police or emergency responders respond to a tragedy. To take the children’s mind off the situation ranging from a fire to a domestic dispute or worse, they give children an animal to cuddle.
