Team Building Charter for MASC Austin Properties.  Once again Windsong coordinated a 2 boat event bring in a 46' Irwin Barefoot Babe.  Starting the day off with Kathy's homemade Fajita lunch then the pirate bunch boarded the 2 largest charter sailboats for a great day sailing on Galveston Bay.

Team Building for a great corporation...

What does 24 employees, 3 of the largest sailboats and 9 dozens eggs, a new knot, and 2 new Captains aboard Windsong have in common?  A homemade breakfast with biscuits then down the dock as everyone boarded 3 boats abreast...

We brought in 2 additional boats (Barefoot Babe and Paradise) for a team building sail and race around the bay.  The group was divided into three teams for each boat.  The employees were from around the World (Singapore, USA, Mexico, France, Brazil and Bolivia. (sorry if I left a country out)).  Everyone had a great time and won the bragging rights for their company.

The race is on... out the Watergate channel with barefoot Babe first, Paradise in second and Windsong heading up third... Boy it looks like winter below but it was just hazy...

What NO Wind!  The wind started out very light with boat speeds of 2.5 knots and picked up with boats speeds of 8 knots reached by a fantastic crew. 

Finally, 15 knots of wind...  Speaking of Knots - At this time Windsong would like to introduce the 2 new Captains aboard Windsong...

Boy was that some storm that blew through and fast - first 10-15 knots, then 30, the temp went from 98 to 78 in a matter of minutes - but finally the wind settled down to 12 knots for a great sail to San Leon point...
