New Bistro in town gets a 5 star review...

What do people think? Bill Byous: A beautiful place to enjoy friends and food on the water. An imaginative variety of great menu selections at a reasonable price. Check out the world class wine menu. Charlie and Co. have spent a lot of time creating an immaculately clean, sophisticated beauty that was worth the wait. Casual. Opus is located in Clear Lake Shores just off highway 2094 just 5 minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk.

Salvation Army -

Windsong supports Community Relations

The Salvation Army Residence Center and Justice for Children are charitable focuses for the International Facility Managers Association.  Kathy and Captain Bob frequently donate charters and their time  in order to donate money to these causes.  The Holiday Event hosted a silent auction and Windsong brought in $500 dollars.  The proceeds help purchase shoes, back packs, school supplies & uniforms for children that live at the residence center.  In many cases the Mother is escaping domestic violence and the children leave their homes with only the clothes on their back.  The Mother’s receive counseling, education and support to enter the workforce and become a functioning parent.  Windsong was also involved in an October Raffle that raised money for Justice for Children.  This program helps children that have been abused when the system fails.
